Grow a New Garden Book: Where to Buy

Grow a New Garden, Where to Buy it

Grow a New Garden: Plan, Design and transform any outdoor space is available now.

My name is Becky. I’m the author of the brand-new book Grow a New Garden. During my years of gardening, I have started numerous new gardens. And in this time, I’ve learned a thing or two about what it takes. I am also an ecologist and gardening expert, so I’ve poured my knowledge into this book to create something truly unique. Grow a New Garden takes you through every step you need to take to plan, design and create your garden in a way that is organic and positive for the environment. Firstly, here’s some advice to get you started.

It Starts With Soil

Soil is the most important thing in your garden. Understanding how it works can help you make the right choices when it comes to plant care. Choosing the right plants for your space will also be influenced by the soil you have, so you should also understand how to test it.

Creating a Nice Space

By choosing the right plants, you can create a space that is beautiful and tranquil, no matter what conditions you are working with. You can use plants to create shade, privacy, noise protection and even filter pollution.

  1. Becky, Since your email is not coming to the US until October – and I am a new Gardner looking to start her first garden with little to no experience – who is also a renter – what suggestions do you have for first time crops with maximum yields?

It’s my hope I can get others in the neighborhood to get excited and want to start their own gardens too.

    1. I’m so sorry for the delayed response here. I would recommend checking out the blog post “easy crops and how to grow them”, where I talk about some easy crops. Also check out the blog post on no dig gardening for a simple and approachable way to boost the soil in your garden. Good luck!
